RelyWP exists to build a small number of genuinely reliable WooCommerce plugins – the kind you can install once and trust to keep working, release after release. Every plugin is developed, maintained and supported directly by the same person who built it.
Originally a website development and hosting company, RelyWP has narrowed its focus over the years to do one thing well: premium tools that help stores acquire, reward, retain and win back their customers — all backed by fast, friendly human support.
The Story So Far
From a self-taught start to a plugin studio
Over fifteen years of building on WordPress — one tournament site, hundreds of clients, and a focused suite of plugins later.
A self-taught start
Sponsored by a small web host, Elliot picked up WordPress to run his own competitive gaming tournaments — teaching himself PHP to build a custom tournament system that went on to run 300+ events for thousands of players across Europe.
Going full-time
After an extended ICT diploma and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Hull University, Elliot became a full-time WordPress developer — building and maintaining sites for brands including The Fragrance Shop, Bluesound and Contently.
RelyWP is founded
Years of freelance work became a limited company, offering WordPress development, hosting, maintenance and support to hundreds of businesses worldwide.
A shift to plugins
Following the success of Coupon Affiliates and the free Simple Cloudflare Turnstile — now past 100,000 installs — plugin development became the company’s main focus.
A dedicated plugin studio
Client services were phased out completely so RelyWP could focus almost entirely on building, improving and supporting its own plugins.
